Book 2.
230 pages. In this book, the town clerk sometimes
references marriage intentions as "certificates of
marriage." Identify actual marriages by signature of
the minister or terms such as "solemnized" and
"returns". Divorce data appears when submitted
to clear the way for a subsequent marriage. Note that
pages 145-230 do not presently appear in this collection,

1815-1835. Vol III. 389 pages.
In addition to minutes of town meetings, this book
includes juror lists, fence divisions, perambulations,
reports of stray animals (and their finders), tax
abatements votes, bids for care of poor (p 103), and at
least one record of an indentured servant (p 201). Note
that tax abatements required an affirmative town meeting
vote, and that auctions determined caretakers of the poor.
