Chesterfield is located in
Hampshire County, Massachusetts. Incorporated as a town in 1762,
it was formerly a plantation known as "New Hingham." Surrounding
towns presently include Goshen, Williamsburg, Westhampton,
Huntington, Worthington and Cummington.

of Chesterfield vital records were filmed, spanning the years
from 1762 to 1892. Also filmed were several files of small index
