The Dana vital records comprise
indexes and 10 volumes of data for the years 1801-1938. In 1938,
Dana, along with Enfield, Greenwich and Prescott, became
extinct; the area is now mostly covered by the Quabbin
Reservoir. This publication presently contains records to 1893,
but may at future intervals include information to 1938.
Regretfully, birth, marriage and death records from 1801 to 1842
are missing. However, supplementary death information is
available in the Quabbin Park Cemetery Records, listed elsewhere
in this Bibliography. The vital records filmed include:
