There are 22 volumes in this collection. One tells that an early resident, Ebenezer Cobb, lived to the age of 107 (1694-1801). Also of special interest are the last few pages of the volume titled "School District Taxes" (fiche 70). They record the signatures (autographs) of voters registering from 1878-1884.

This volume lists non-resident taxpayers from about 1864-1866 and registered voters from 1878-1884. Although home place is often listed in the records of non-resident taxpayers, dates are scarce--and may vary from the time period estimated. Also, ink on some of the pages is badly faded. The voter registration includes signatures and, usually, occupations.
