Located in Plymouth County, Lakeville was incorporated in 1853. It was formed from Middleborough, which now borders to the east. Other adjoining towns are Freetown and Taunton, both in Bristol County.

 

Lakeville Births, Marriages, Deaths 1853-1902. Vol 1.

This volume consists of separate registers for births, marriages and deaths. Each starts with page 1, and the pages are numbered singly for about 2/3 of the entries in the register. Thereafter, however, every two pages are numbered as one. Specifically, birth pages are numbered singly through page 52 (1872), marriage pages are numbered singly through page 45 (1885) and death pages are numbered singly through page 42 (1871).
