The Prescott vital
records comprise six volumes of data and indexes for the
years 1795-1937. In 1938, Prescott, together with
Enfield, Dana, and Greenwich, became extinct; most of
the area is now inundated with the Quabbin Reservoir.
This publication presently contains all marriage
intentions and deaths that were recorded, as well as
birth and marriage records to 1890. At future intervals,
the remaining births and marriages may be published.
Burials are included in the Quabbin Park Cemetery
Records, listed elsewhere in this Bibliography.
