Sandwich General Records 1651-1691: Births, Marriages & Deaths [1634-1692]. Vol 1. Even at high magnification, reading this old-style writing, with ink now blurred, takes great imagination. Town records seem to include minutes of town meetings, earmarks, and accounts of some sort--perhaps tax lists. Of the relatively few vital records, most are births--and some are legible. Be aware, however, that some pages labeled alphabetically contain unexpected names. Missing pages include 240-241.
