This collection includes thirteen volumes of Somerset data and indexes.

The first two books in this collection include the town's vital records from 1690-1855 and an index to them (fiches 1-5). Following the early vital records are four volumes of town records, from 1680 to 1830 (fiches 6-22). The final grouping, from 1844-1892, consists of three volumes of indexes and four volumes of vital records (fiches 23-52).

This book consists mainly of marriage publishments/intentions from 1790-1855, with marriage records often intermixed. Births as early as 1690, and a few deaths, are found on pages 99-122 and, occasionally, as single entries on pages of marriage intentions. There are some blank pages, notably 124-167.
