Established as a town 7 September 1643, Wenham is bordered by Hamilton on the north, Beverly on the south, Manchester on the east and Danvers and Topsfield on the west. This collection includes 14 volumes of town and vital records. The earliest births, marriages and deaths are found in a variety of record books (fiches 1-15). Town record books also help identify residents (fiches 16-35). Rebellion records (fiches 36-37) often include vital data for soldiers and sailors who served in the Civil War. Registers of births, marriages and deaths and their indexes (fiches 38-48) conclude this publication.
