Until established as a town in 1729, Westford was the west precinct of Chelmsford. This book includes meeting minutes of the precinct and the town, as well as records of the selectmen, the treasurer and other town officials. Vital records include births and deaths 1701-1765, marriages 1730-1744, and marriage intentions 1730-1764. Tax lists identify town residents from year to year.
