Williamstown, formerly a
plantation called West Hoosuck, was established in 1765.
The town is situated in the northwest corner of
Massachusetts, bordering New York and Vermont. In the
Town Hall, there are 18 volumes of vital records,
related records, and indexes for the years 1757-1987.
